Re: Compact Command

We actually run the compact command as a weekly program that runs after our domino server restart every weekend. If this is something you would be interested in, let me know and I can give you the command we use. This way it does a weekly cleanup without any user intervention. Of course, if you need to do a compact command right then, you can always run the following command from the Domino Admin Console. this command assumes the mail file is in the mail directory :

load compact mail\mailfile.nsf -B (the -B helps recover unused space).

If you look in the help section of Domino, it should explain all tags / parms you can use.
